Important Tips:

The key is not to overstuff the chicken and too make sure you wrap the bacon completely around the thigh.

You can really stuff these with just about anything you want. When I make these I usually make half with brown sugar and pineapple and the other half with jalapeño and cream cheese. It gives guest the option of sweet or spicy!

Meal Ideas:

Last time I made these, I served them with Roasted Potatoes with Dijon, Garlic Green Beans, and Tomato Onion Cucumber Salad!

We tried this tonight. not bad!

There is a typo in the directions. The marinade recipe calls for:
2 tsp. chopped fresh time or 1 tsp. dried

is it Lime or Thyme. We debated, then went with thyme. Now that we’ve eaten it, we’re thinking you meant Lime.

    Odd flavors, but tasted ok.

Just have to say….the most entertaining part of that video was the puppy, lurking in the background. Just like my dog, the minute you start working with chicken in the kitchen….in she strolls, with that “Oh I’m So Hungry” look in her in eye. Trying that jalapeño-cream cheese version tomorrow, for sure…..and I hope you threw the puppy a bite! Loved his/her black ears poking up over the edge of the table!
