Roasted Chickpeas are my new favorite snack. They take virtually no time to prepare and are so healthy and delicious. Roasted chickpeas are gluten-free, dairy free, vegan, nut free, etc. They are even kid friendly too! They are great to put out for a crowd in place of nuts, or even as a salad topping. The possibilities are endless and your guests will truly enjoy them.

Time Required:Prep Time – 5 min; Cook Time – 35 minutes
2 cans of chickpeas
2 T. Olive Oil
2 T of your favorite seasonings – think of combinations you like. For example:
Spicy – chili powder, cayenne, salt, pepper and garlic
Indian – cardamom, cumin, coriander, salt and garlic
Or use a favorite spice blend you purchased
Preparing Roasted Chickpeas:
Preheat oven to 400 Degrees. Drain and rinse chickpeas and pat dry. Place in mixing bowl. Add olive oil, spices, and garlic powder. Mix well. Place on baking sheet and cook for 20 minutes. Stir and cook for additional 15 minutes or until they are at your personal preference for crispiness.
