Denise’s Christmas menu

Christmas Eve is just 5 days away. It’s hard to believe that I just solidified my menus last night! The way it works in our house is that we go to church on Christmas Eve and then head back to my house for a big dinner. We usually have a great mixture of friends and family. This year we will be blessed with have 14 people at our dinner table…and everybody is bringing something!

Denise’s Christmas Day Menu
I started a tradition a few years ago of making monkey bread on Christmas morning. My kids will not let me deviate from it…AT ALL. I usually make some bacon and fresh fruit to round out the morning…and a LOT of coffee. Lunch is usually light and I put out appetizers early. This year, since there is only 6 of us for Christmas Day, the appetizers are going to be very simple.
Christmas Dinner
Syrian Rice
Roasted Root Vegetables
Steamed Broccoli with Lemon Butter Sauce
