Lemon Butter Sauce is a great way to change up the run of the mill “steamed vegetables.” You can make the sauce in the amount of time it takes to steam the vegetables, so it’s not like you’re adding too much time to your dinner making plans.
While you are steaming your vegetables, melt about 3 T of salted butter in a microwave safe bowl. Add the juice of 1 lemon and 3 gloves of minced garlic. Mix well.
When the vegetables are done, drain (if necessary) and immediately transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle sauce on top. Mix gently.
