Honey-Garlic Pork Chops

Honey Garlic Pork Chops are so simple to make, but they take a bit of planning so you can make sure they marinate long enough. I found this many years ago in the San Diego Union Tribune. No specific amounts of each ingredient were listed, but the marinade should be a combination of spicy-sweet.
Level of Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: Prep Time – 5 min.; Marinate Time – 4 hours – 24 hours; Cook Time – 15 minutes
Ingredients:
Juice of one large lemon
1 T. honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 T. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp . garlic powder
Thick cut pork chops (boneless)
Special Equipment and Other Items Needed:
Grill
Preparation of Honey Garlic Pork Chops:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Remember, the marinade should be spicy-sweet, so taste it and change quantities of the ingredients until you get the right flavor. Reserve about 1/2 cup or so of the marinade to use to baste the chops. Use the remaining marinade for the pork chops. Place marinade and chops in a zip top bag for as little as 4 hours or as many as 24 hours. Grill the chops, about 10 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with the reserved marinade.
Meal Ideas:
These pork chops go great with a Chinese or Asian theme. Serve with rice and stir fried vegetables for a complete meal.
