Bacon Wrapped Lil Smokies

If you need an awesome appetizer in a pinch, or just want to “WOW” your friends with little bundles of flavor, it really doesn’t get much easier than these little mouth watering Bacon Wrapped Lil Smokies. It doesn’t take much time and everyone loves them.

YOU WILL NEED:

Non stick cooking spray
1 package of Lil’ Beef Smokies
1 pound of bacon
¾ cup light brown sugar

toothpicks
large ziploc bag

How to make Bacon Wrapped Lil Smokies with Brown Sugar

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly coat with non-stick cooking spray. Put the brown sugar into a ziploc bag. Cut the bacon crosswise into thirds. Wrap one piece of bacon around each smokie and secure with a toothpick. Add 4-6 wrapped smokies at a time to the bag of brown sugar and shake to coat. Remove the smokies from the bag, remove the toothpick and place seam side down on the baking pan. Do this for all of the remaining smokies. Bake for 30 minutes or until bacon is brown. Serve immediately.
