How To Clean Mushrooms

Kitchen TipsDo you know how to clean a mushroom? Would you not think you would wash them like any other type of vegetable? Well, don’t wash mushrooms with water! Mushrooms are like little sponges. If you wash them with running water, they will absorb too much water and then subsequently release that water when cooking. If your mushrooms need to be cleaned, dampen a paper towel and wipe off any dirty spots.
